Preschool Picnic

It's hard to believe Carter's first year of preschool is over. He's really changed a lot this year. It's a happy sad feeling all at once! Yesterday was his last day of school, and he came out of the class and announced "I'm a BIG EXPLORER now!". His preschool is split between the "Little Learners" who are in the younger class, and the "Big Explorers" - who all graduated to kingergarteners yesterday. (Next year when Carter does that I will sob I'm sure!) LOL

So, today was the last day - and we had a picnic. It was the perfect day. Another hot and sunny day (you can tell just how sunny from the pics!). The parents all came, the kids played at the park and we had pizza and popscicles for lunch. A very fun day!

Carter is going to miss his main three teachers this year, so I even took opportunity to snap a pic of him with each of them - Tracey, Lara, and Shirley. They are the best! :)
