Father's Day!

We had a pretty uneventful Father's Day around here. Steve went biking in the morning, and Carter and I hung out at home and ran some errands. Then for dinner we enjoyed ourselves at the Fish Market in San Mateo. We got a nice table right by the water, and had a yummy meal! Carter ate his entire plate of fish and chips along with a big bowl of ice cream for dessert!

Steve and I shared a spicy tuna roll for an appetizer. Carter's not a big fan of sushi - although he does enjoy the occassional California roll (obviously we don't let our 3 year old eat the raw fish), and he LOVES Miso soup. He actually calls it "cheese soup". Seems he thinks the tofu is cheese. ;)

Anyways, I'm off topic. So, our sushi comes and Carter comments on the "tiny orange grapes" (the tobiko) that topped off the roll. He decided to help himself to it and try some. I thought he's spit it out, but he LOVED it. He said "Mmm - it's filled with salsa!" LOL. He picked off most of it off the entire plateful. What a kid!
