Berkeley!

Berkeley is starting to become "our kitty". She spent her entire first 24hrs here in the downstairs bathroom (where we set up her litter box/food/etc). She was allowed to come out whenever she liked, but just didn't really want to. She realllly liked it when we came in to visit her, but just wanted to stay where she was.

Well, last night I turned around and PEEK who was upstairs and exploring the house. She still wasn't sure, but she was feeling her way. Around 9pm she got the CRAZIES! Racing around the house like a wildcat. It was insane, but cute!

Today (Tuesday) her second full day with us, she is a different kitty. She wants to be cuddled and kissed. Everytime we pick her up she puuuurrrrs. If we're home, she follows us. This morning I had some work to do, and she was on my lap, in my face, and wanted my attention. This afternoon she got a bit more attention than she bargained for from Carter...but she did super well. She is such a sweetie! We shall see come 10pm what she does! :P

Here are a few new pics...We got her this kitty condo last night. She's not too sure of it yet, but I caught this pic of her scoping it out from upstairs (hence the bad pic) Moooom...you flashed me! (oops...my bad)
Sleepy kitty. Now here's a little tidbit just for my sister... ;)
The first time Nancy came to visit us in Montreal over 5 years ago she complained about the crappy pillows on our guest bed. Hey, we were house poor! So, disgusted as she was ;), she went out and bought herself her very own pillow. Umm...guess it's cozy! You have to share. Berkeley has been sleeping on it! LOL. Sorry Spud!
Daddy and Berkeley...she's still a bit wary of Daddy. She hasn't seen him too much yet. So far, she's a mommy's girl. :)
Oh yes...and her name. Berkeley seems to be it. I wondered if we would nickname it, or call her Lily as we originally thought. Nope...she answers to it. It's a winner!
