We decided to take a bit of extra time coming back so we could stop a few places and enjoy the trip. We detoured from the main highway in Oregon to take the scenic historical highway along the Columbia River. It was beautiful. Carter didn't take a ton of pleasure in the scenery, but he was nice and quiet playing Angry Birds while we drove along! ha!
