The Hungry Caterpillar

Last night after we put Carter to bed, we could tell he was reading in bed with his flashlight. He had out a copy of the Hungry Caterpillar and was reading it aloud to himself. This morning, he decided to do a second reading - so I videotaped it. So cute! Overall, he has the story correct, but it's cute to see what he adds in by looking at the photos. The story always starts off with "The Hungry Caterpillar saw lots and lots of dots" - because that's the illustration on the first page. :) I also had to giggle when he's reading out the different foods...my new favorite word I think is "salas-amole". Too funny!
