We bought a house!

I think most of my regular blog readers probably already heard our good news - we bought a house here in the Bay Area! It's super cute, 2 story, 3 bedroom, 1500sq feet (which is pretty good for a house here!). We get posession around mid January, but plan to spend the next 6 weeks or so fixing it up - it's a fixer upper!

I am super excited to get started, and just get settled. So much of our stuff is just placed here and there, and tons is still packed from our last move. It's going to be good to be HOME!

Not too much we can do yet...we need to do lots of measuring once we get in there. We plan to redo the kitchen completely, plus two bathrooms, and paint the whole place. After that, we'll see how the budget holds up and we need to replace some light fixtures, closet and bedroom doors etc.

We did go ahead and pick out the colors we wanted to paint the place! FUN! This pic is crappy...but here you go! Vanilla colored walls, with the brown accent. Then a few accents will be painted the red. Carter's room and his bathroom will be the Mickey Mouse blue. Keeping it simple this time :
