The next week in May was a busy one!

We started off with Carter's Black Belt Club meet. Here he is learning how to use the staff - working on offensive/defensive techniques. It was a little stressful to watch two 5 year olds weilding large sticks...but they did very well!

Next up was Mother's Day. We went to brunch and shopped around a bit - then spent a lazy afternoon at home!

Carter was very excited to give me his gift...LOL!

That same day we found this silly note in Carter's room. Totally cracked me up, so we had to take a pic!
