Our Summer Vacation...in pics!

The next 4-5 blog posts are all pics of our uber short, but fun summer vacation. We only had 2.5 days, but we crammed a lot of fun into them. We headed up to Vallejo, CA and went to Discovery Kingdom (a six flags park). Vallejo is less than an hour from home, but we decided to make a real trip of it, and spent the whole day there and then overnighted it at the hotel across the street. Carter thought it was GREAT! We all all had fun though - and it was nice to be in the sun. When we left SF it was cold and rainy. After that we drove up the Sacramento for another day and night. Again, an easy day trip from SF for us, but it was nice to just be chill and relax a bit.

 This ride was so fun that Carter insisted on riding it 3-4 times. After getting completely drenched myself, I decided to sit the next round out and take pics instead...

 Steve looks a little worn out...Carter is giggling! He is SO brave. That kid will ride on anything! He even went on one of the BIG roller coasters.
