Last night we went to the U2 concert in Oakland! It was a long time waiting..but so worth it! An awesome concert! We bought the tickets about 18months ago and the concert was set for LAST June. Sadly, Bono hurt his back and they cancelled/rescheduled the tour. It seemed like a looong wait, but as I said - we had a great time! It was a nice warm night in Oakland - perfect for the outdoor concert!
Lenny Kravitz was the opening act - he was awesome! See the post below for a video...
You can also see the REALLY elaborate set design for the concert here. It was HUGE and amazing. Lots of moving parts. Very impressive!
Steve and I!
A little video footage...see below for more!
You can also check this LINK out for another cool peek at the concert! Astronaut Mark Kelly did a shout out (pre-taped, but still cool) from the International Space Center. They had him spelling out the words and reciting some lyrics during "It's a Beautiful Day". Very fun!
It was a great evening - our official anniversary celebration...7 years married this month! Together for 10 years this month too! :D
