Pony Camp!

Carter is a really lucky boy this week - he gets to go to Pony Camp! He's going in the morning from 9-12 and you know mommy has to love him tons to get up and drive him over to Half Moon Bay for 9am! Actually, I was pleasantly surprised - the trip took 20mins exactly door to door. Not too bad!

I stayed with him today to watch and it was sooo cute! The kids got to see lots of animals, hold and pet them as well as learn basic animal care, feeding, handling, and even did some crafts. Carter had a great time and can't wait to go back tomorrow!
This was the highlight of the day (even for me!) teeny tiny baby bunnies - about 4-5weeks old. Carter thought they were cute, but wasn't too sure how to go about picking one up and holding them - but once they showed him he didn't want to stop!

This little white one loved him a lot - he kept hopping back to Carter and even fell asleep in his lap for a bit!

Next up - pony care! The kids split up and had to groom their ponies before they could ride. Carter is brushing a horse named Honey.

Note - he is always surrounded by girls. There were quite a few boys there too...but the girls all looooved Carter. My little ladies man!

This baby goat was so adorable - 4 months old

The thing Carter wanted to do most of all was pet a chicken. I had to giggle that of all the things he could do that was the number one priority in his mind. But, pet a chicken he did - lots of them. I didn't get close enough for a photo though. He also got to pet this guy...who really does say Cock-a-doodle-doo....a LOT!

Craft time - cute little frames to put pics in of their week at Poy Camp.

Getting ready for his ride on the pony. I think this one was named Mary...

Waving at me during his ride!

It was a really fun day!
