Happy April!

It was a busy day today! It was sooo nice out - the temperature topped out close to 80, so we grabbed the shorts, and sunscreen and headed to the SF Zoo. Carter's BFF Brooke, her mom, and her little siblings joined us for a funfilled day!

Crappy pic, but had to shoot this one for Nancy - the new hippo at the zoo. It was so hot out he stayed underwater the whole time!

We finished up with lunch and a LOT of playtime at the zoo's playground. Everyone was tired out by the time we headed home!

Later on we celebrated Berkeley's 2nd Birthday! Carter was so excited you'd think it was a national holiday! He was a little disappointed to find out she wasn't having a huge party. She did get a cake (aka can of cat food - her first) and we sung Happy Birthday!

Berkeley also got some presents - some kitty treats, that green lizard you can see by her tail, and another toy. Carter was pretty excited to see she also got a little Lego set in her gift. Berkeley LOVES playing with Lego (and knowing her, she probably eats it too!). Carter asked her if he could put the set together for her. He took her silence as a YES! LOL
