Easter Sunday started off as a busy busy day! First we got up and went to church. There was no Sunday School, so we were a little worried about Carter sitting through the service, he did well though. He did add a little comic relief through worship though. Not sure if that's good or bad! ;)
During the Children's Story he was quite chatty and had a few questions. He also managed to go up carrying his Easter storybook...and sort of suggested that Pastor Karen should read it. She indulged him by reading the last page! ha! During this time he also noticed that since he was at the front, his photo was up on the video screen. So, he spent a bit of time waving to himself and making faces. Mommy finally caught his eye though...and he stopped!
Carter also got the chance to take communion this morning. We were up as a family, kneeling at the alter. Carter got his wafer and dipped it in the juice. After that he wasn't so sure about eating it...so he asked everyone up there (about 20 people). "I don't know if I want to eat this - does it taste good???". Needless to say, he was shushed and I got two communion meals in a hurry ;)
What a kid...sigh...
Following church we headed over to share lunch with Cel, Andy, and Wesley. The kids had a great time just playing and chilling. We also decorated eggs and had a little egg hunt. Lots of good food, LOTS of good wine...and hours later I am still full! :)

Looks like a fun time!! Glad it got sunny for you guys :) It was dreary up here.
