Last week, while my parents were here, we took a mini trip to the Water Temple. We'd never been, but it's a super pretty place! I found out you can even get married here (and it's cheap!). Awesome location! We had a fun time walking around and enjoying the sun. Carter had fun doing laps around the gravel pathway (which was actually pretty long!). He was TIRED that night! LOL.

I love that spot! In college, my friends and I used to ride our bikes from the 92/280 interchange to the Water Temple, hang out and toss a football around, do some sketching, then bike back. Beautiful ride. The good ol' days...

Ooh, did you go inside the temple? The big hole in the middle is now covered in two layers of super heavy-duty screening. But it used to only have one grate over it with big spaces in between the bars. You look down at all that water rushing by, a looooong way down--we used to dare each other to walk across it, or to go to the middle and lay down. :) Goofy kids.
