And finally...part 3!

After the mini-class, all the kids were invited up to do freestyle. They played Freeze Dance. This is one of Carter's favorites, so he really got his dance on! LOL

We also signed up for the Tanforan email club while we were there. For signing up you got to spin their prize wheel. Most of the slots were for a toy (a little spring), or a "surprise". There was one tiny spot for a gift card. Carter was SUPER keen on spinning the wheel thinking he would win a toy. Well, as luck would have it, he landed smack on the tiny gift card! So, we got a $10 GC to Baker's. Not sure how far that would go there...but mommy shall be shopping regardless! ;) Carter was uber sad he didn't get the toy - LOL - so the poor lady manning the booth took pity on him and gave him a slinky spring.

Following that, we decided to finish up the day with a trip to the library. They were having a magic show there. Carter LOVED it. Afterwards they also had free ice cream and popscicles. It was fun! It was not fun however, to realize that we'd been there 1.5hrs and the parking out front (which is super limited to begin with) is only an hour. I came out to see the parking enforcement checking out the cars all over the street. So, we raced back to the car and narrowly missed getting a ticket. Whew! However, I personally think it's kind of mean of the city to cash in on kids hour at the library - esp when City Hall is right next door. Hope all our friends also managed to avoid the fines! :S
