We drove down to Roaring Camp Railroad today to take Carter to A Day Out With Thomas. We went last year as well, and we had a great time. Carter enjoyed it as much as he did last year, and it was nice to get out and enjoy a nice summer day as a family! Here are a few of our MANY pics!
The last pic is kind of silly looking if you don't know what you're seeing. Carter looks angry with his pursed lips! LOL! In fact, he was quite happily *doot doot*-ing a long with the music they played on the train. He has the same CD in the car, so he sang along the whole time!
*ADULT SIDENOTE* Steve and I LOVE to make fun of this one song. We refer to it as "Songs that sound dirty, but aren't". They played it as we were getting off the train and the two of us burst out laughing. The song is about Donald (the train) finding a duck in his coal car. But the song starts off something like "There's a quacker in my tender, it makes me feel so good..." The more you listen to the words, the worse it sounds.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great day out - it brings back some happy memories for me as we used to take Nicholas for days out with Thomas. We also used to watch the videos - over and over and over (I was word perfect!).
