Best Buds!

Last weekend was Carter's BFF Brooke's birthday. I can hardly believe these kids are 5! They have been absolute besties for over half their lives! They met when they were just a little over 2 years old.

Carter is getting GOOD at pinata pounding! He was reallllly happy to get a turn to hit it. The last several parties that had pinatas he didn't get a turn to hit it (usually the turns go youngest to oldest so he's one of the last), and I can see how hard it must be.

 Ira (Brooke's Dad) is into archery and he's been showing the kids how to do it in the backyard. He says the kids are going out for archery scholarships later on (apparently there are a lot to be won). Carter really loves it, and is actually pretty good!
