Anyways, we had a great time last night. It was one of those on again, off again things with all the kids being sick...but everyone ended up being healthy for the big night! Whew! Carter's friend Joey and his parents asked us over for Trick or Treating and a pizza dinner. It was so nice since our street is a dead end for Halloween - no one comes, and no one goes out. Their neighborhood was hopping!

Sadly, I didn't get a really good pic of all 3 kids (Carter, Joey, and Brooke). Too busy watching and not enough photos (bad scrapbooker!)Carter was really cute though. After every house he would park himself on the lawn and reach into the bag and see what he got. That lasted about 3-4 houses...and then he realized his friends were waaaay ahead of him so he sped up a bit.
We ended up going to about a dozen houses. Since not everyone was home though it was a bit more walking. The daddies were giving piggie-backs for the last leg!
We got home, and Carter is still sleeping off the excitement today. He's been fast asleep tonight since 7pm. He didn't even want to wait for pjs before hitting the hay...so he's down there sleeping fully dressed!
It was the same here - too many pre halloween events. Looks like you had a great time!
ReplyDeleteSeams like you all had a great Halloween. For us we didn't get as many treaters as we usually do but one lucky kid got his bag full once I got sick of waiting for them to come. :)
