Got the family decently dressed up for a family photo, and after several tries...we got this one! Good stuff!

Then Nancy snapped away with the camera as we headed down the beach for a few more pics...
We stood here, right at the waters edge for several minutes. Carter loved watching the waves roll in...notice, we're a safe distance back from getting wet.
OR WERE WE???! After standing in the exact same spot for a while, all of a sudden a HUGE wave washed up and got us SOAKING WET! The weight of the water even pushed Carter down!

Of course, our cocky photographer was standing there snapping away giggling to herself she was dry...but alas, it even reached her!It was a long soggy ride home! :)
