Halloween Fun!

Halloween was big around our house this year. Carter was REALLY excited. Last year we missed trick-or-treating since we were in Montreal for a wedding. He was realllllly pumped to go again this year!

In the morning, all the kids at school were allowed to wear their costumes. Carter's Yoda costume wasn't very school friendly - hard to get in to and hot, so he decided to wear his Pizza costume from last year to school.

His friend Joey invited us and a few other friends to come over for Pizza dinner and trick or treat.

In the afternoon, they had a party at Kindergarten. Carter's teacher is very pro-healthy food, so she left them decide what party food to have that was healthy. So, the kids chose spaghetti, watermelon, oranges, and bananas with real fruit juice. They had a lot of fun! (Carter is sitting at the back to the left a bit in the photo)

It's super nice that school is closed today - PD day for the teachers. It was great to sleep in after a busy night last night and just chill a bit today. I'm sure the teachers are happy not to have crazy sugar-high kids there too.
