Another Layout!

The other day I got a big box of goodies in the mail from WeScrap! It's always awesome to get scrappy mail, but I was a bit intimidated by the pink in this Making Memories Love kit. I don't scrapbook with a lot of pink since most of my layouts are about Carter. I took it as a challenge though and whipped up this cute layout of his Valentine card. I think it turned out pretty well! I used my starting point from sketch 105 from The Scrappiest blog!

A new LO!

One of my favorite inspiration sites is Pencil Lines. It's my go-to spot for awesome sketches and often a jumping off spot for my layouts. Working with sketches gives me a great starting point once I've chosen my papers and photos.

Here's a layout I made of Carter's 4 year old preschool pics using the new Circa1934 papers from Cosmo Cricket and a sketch from Pencil Lines!

I didn't think Cosmo would ever be able to top the Early Bird line as my all time favorite paper line from any company...but this one might be in the running! :)

Cards Galore!

I got a big kit this month full of gorgeous papers from Websters Pages. I was totally in love with the funky design and soft colors....however, they didn't really suit the photos I generally scrapbook. I knew if I let this kit sit around it would sit around for a loooong time, so I got to work and hoped my creative mojo would step up to the plate! I made an awesome LO (see a few posts below) and then used the scraps to make a TON of cards! I'm always in need of pretty cards to give out, so these will either go into my stash to use, or some lucky recipient might receive them as a gift for some occasion!

New projects!
