The Beach!

Here's a new layout I made up in literally 20 minutes! I plopped the papers down and looked at them and loved how they looked design-wise. Got out my glue and a few minutes later, I had this!

The cute story behind this is in the journaling. Carter sure didn't like being splashed in the face. He wasn't very happy with Daddy for "letting" him get splashed either. After begging to go "Buggie Boarding" (Carter speak), he refused to try it again, and spent the rest of our time at the beach making sandcastles.

Video!

Here's a quick video of Carter dancing yesterday at the party. Too bad as soon as I turned on the camera he stopped, but you can still see a little action!

4th of July!

We spent most of our day today at San Bruno Park. I was pretty surprised to see the playground almost empty! Carter was pleased to see one of his friends from preschool, and Steve and I happened to hit it off with his parents and had a good chat (ironic much? His parents' names are ALSO Victoria and Steve! LOL).

We had hotdogs and chips for lunch and just enjoyed the 80degree weather!

Th highlight of the park? There was a guy there with his pet birds and he let Carter hold one of them. I should have snapped a pic of the other one. A parrot - wearing a top hat! LOL

Carter was also pretty excited for his new outfit. $4shorts from Target that are pretty much good only for the 4th! LOL. He put them on and deemed them his "dance party pants!"

Scooby Dooby Doo...

Saturday we enjoyed a nice hot day in Golden Gate Park celebrating our friend Sean's birthday. He went all out with the celebrations and we enjoyed some awesome food, great drinks...and a few kiddie activities as well! Carter spent 99% of the day in the Mystery Machine bouncy house, and also enjoyed the kids pinata (there was an adult pinata later on too!)Sadly the day was cut slightly short by overloading the Mystery Machine, and oops - it tore, and deflated!
